Pachamanca Lunch Experience
Pachamanca is a traditional Peruvian cooking experience built from an earth oven and hot stones. Our Pachamanca lunch offers a choice of beef, chicken, pork or lamb, marinated in local herbs and spices, and a variety of seasonal ingredients such as Andean potatoes, habas, (Andean fresh green beans), sweet potatoes, corn, yuca, carrots, banana, ect.
Served with homemade traditional dipping sauces and refreshing chicha morada, a purple corn beverage.
You may partake in preparing the earth oven, first by heating the stones over a fire. Then, we load the oven with our tasty food. We will have about an hour to take in the magnificent view of the valley accompanied by my house pets.
Local beer, wine and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
Lunch is served outside with amazing beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and only a 5 minute walk from the main plaza in Ollantaytambo.
Pachamanca lunch experience takes 2-3 hours depending how long you wanna enjoy in our special place and is offered between 12.00 pm and 18.00 pm.
We can take groups 2-12 persons.
